Walk details:-

Follow the finger sign towards Golden Cap. This will lead you on a level path along the base of the small ridgeway to your right and will bring you out onto a small lane. (3/4 mile).

Turn left along the lane which has some steepish inclines but should be almost traffic-free. Golden Cap will be on your right and you will have various options to pick up a path there if you so decide.

About ¾ of the way (1/2 mile) along the lane you will find a stile in the left-hand hedge which you can take and follow the path across the fields back into the village. Also, you can walk a further 400 metres along the lane until you meet a right turn for the Golden Cap car park. Here, you can turn left here, through the gate and return to the village.

Both paths will bring you out in the middle of Morcombelake. Turn left and proceed along the road until you turn left into Ship Knapp and back to your car.
